Cookie Dough Protein Bars are a fantastic
snack with oatmeal, protein powder, and chopped nuts.
No-Bake Matcha Protein Bars: These bars are
healthy, protein-packed snacks that don't require an oven!
Ingredients:
-4 tablespoons of butter or vegan
butter ( I used Earth Balance Vegan
Buttery Sticks )
-1/2 cup white sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 1/2 cups oats ( I used gluten-free oats)
-3/4 cup almond meal or almond flour *You
may substitute more oats for the almond meal if you want a sweeter bar.*
-2 tablespoons almond milk
-1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used a
half cup of mini semisweet chips, but use your favorite kind)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, heat the butter and sugar
over medium heat until melted. Stir in vanilla and oats and cook for 1 minute.
2. Mix with a spatula until the mixture is
well combined and sticky. Add the flour, milk, chocolate chips and mix until thoroughly
combined. Transfer to an 8×8 inch greased pan (or something similar) and let
cool for about 15 minutes so that it sets up in the pan before cutting into
bars (see notes below).
Banana bread muffins are a staple in many
households. These muffins taste divine with chocolate chips and a mashed banana
hidden inside.
Your kids will be thrilled to know that you
created these snacks, and it's only their favorite things!
The vegan raspberry oatmeal bars are one of
my favorite snacks to make. I like that they are vegan, and I love the tartness
of the raspberry in these bars. The traditional recipe for these bars is
typically butter, vanilla extract, sugar, flour (I use gluten-free flour),
rolled oats (gluten-free oats), and an egg. After combining these ingredients
in a saucepan over medium heat until it becomes sticky, you transfer it into an
8x8 inch greased pan (or something similar) to allow it to cool before cutting
into squares.
